COVID-19 Information and In-Person Event Policy

COVID-19 Information & In-Person Event Policy

NAA is committed to your safety during its in-person events and we want you to be aware of the protocols and requirements for NAA in-person events. As the situation surrounding the COVID-19 virus is constantly evolving, NAA reserves the right to adjust protocols based on local, state, and national public health guidelines and restrictions in a specific location.
  • All in-person attendees and guests at NAA events will be required to show verification of COVID-19 vaccination or provide documentation of a medical exemption plus negative COVID-19 test through a third-party verification system prior to departing for the event.

  • Anyone with a certified medical exemption must complete and provide verification of a negative COVID test. This can be either a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours of the event start time, OR negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event start time. COVID tests must be administered by an official testing center.
  • NAA will comply with mask recommendations as established by the local, state, and federal public health recommendations, with greater emphasis on local and state guidelines. This means that masks may be designated as mask optional or required depending upon the risk index in the location of the event. Wearing masks in interior spaces will be highly encouraged.

  • All attendees and guests must acknowledge and assume that there is a risk of contracting COVID-19 at in-person events and agree to hold the Natural Areas Association harmless.

  • Attendees must acknowledge that protocols and requirements for the event may change between the time of registration and the convening.

  • All attendees and guests must agree to comply with the protocols and restrictions as established for the event.
Closer to the event start date, you will be asked to complete a Self-Certification and Acknowledgement Form, complete screening questions via a legally compliant health management platform, and to provide proof of vaccination or medical exemption.
