Attention Students & Faculty

And if you register for the conference now, students can take advantage of a special two years for the price of one membership offer. A Natural Areas Journal subscription is included with membership!
Free housing available for all student attendees!
The Natural Areas Association wants to encourage as many students as possible to attend the conference. As an alternative to staying at the conference headquarters hotel, free housing for students and sponsoring faculty is available at Camp Rising Sun at Lake Ozark State Park. Facilities are barracks style cabins complete with bathrooms and showers. Kitchen facilities will not be available. The park (B) is approximately 15 miles from the conference site at Tan-Tar-A (A) (See Map Below). You must first register for the conference to take advantage of the free housing. To register for these accommodations please email Angela Archer. (Note: You must provide proof of full-time student status both during conference registration and when reserving space at LOSP).

“I loved every minute of being at the conference; it was immensely inspiring to be surrounded by so many like-minded people. The conference opened my eyes to the diversity of environmental career possibilities open to students like me.”
